Need innovative insights? There are methods to develop your creativity and are even backed by science! Being imaginative all the time is tough.

You may require some motivation or a brand-new perspective.

People seem to have the misconception. That only a select few have the ability to unleash a consistent flow of innovative ideas. That is not true at all.

Creativity is very much like a muscle that requires exercises in order to produce results. If you do not practice harnessing creative thinking, this skill will atrophy into inexistence. However, keep practicing and this skill will come to you in a snap.

So how do you unleash your creative thinking? Read everything available and take in as much knowledge and learning you can find. Keep your mind open to the infinite possibilities of the universe.

The more you understand, the more you will wish to know.

And the more of your creative thinking will be exercised. Be prepared to be amazed at little facts that add colors into your life. Focus on a creative activity every day.

Yes, it is an effort. Even just doodling is a creative activity. Do not let anything hinder you.

Mindlessness may also be a creative activity. However for individuals who are just starting out to unleash a little bit of creative thinking in their lives. It is practical and motivating to do something concrete.

Try it.

Practice drawing for a few minutes every day. Take out your old camera and start snapping photos like crazy. Keep a journal and write in it religiously.

Another cool idea is to write by describing something with your five senses. Before you know it, you will have built yourself a tiny portfolio. And you will be amazed at the growth you have undertaken after amassing all those works of art.

Who knows, you might actually take to liking those things you do every day. Pretty soon those things will become a part of you and you will be addicted to these creative exercises. Think out of the box, or don’t.

Sometimes, limitations can be a good thing.

Limitations discipline you to work within your means. It enables you to be more resourceful. Creative freedom is great, but limitations enforce discipline.

Try something new every day and let your experiences broaden your perspective. Explore a new district in your neighborhood. Spend an afternoon in a museum which you have never visited before.

Chat up with a stranger on the bus. Open up to people around you. As you throw yourself out of your comfort zone more and more every day.

Your sense of adventure grows, and so does your zest for life.

Think about it. When was the last time you did something for the first time? If it has been a while, you have been missing out on a whole lot of experiences.

That could have added to your growth, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Why not try bungee jumping today? Not only will you experience, but you will also have plenty of stories to share.

Embrace insanity. Sanity calms, but madness is more interesting. Every creative thought was once considered crazy.

Fortunately, that did not stop the creative geniuses from standing by them.

Sanity confines people to think. Creativity is breaking through barriers. Yes, this includes the bizarre and the downright strange.

Not that you should develop a crazy personality that might go haywire. It is important that your creativity does not get you detached from the real world. Start thinking beyond your “limits” and you will be living a life full of interesting adventures.
