It is uncommon to see a volcano erupt so up close and personal, however, thanks to Phil and Linda McNamara from Australia, now we can. They captured a video of Mount Tavurvur Volcano exploded in Papua New Guinea. The video begins generally enough with video footage of the shoreline from a boat. Then, all of a sudden… Boom!
The eruption was so strong that it triggered a sonic boom (which you can hear in the video). Here’s the complete video of the explosion:
Mother Nature must be dreaded as much as she is adored. Simply envision if that occurred near a huge city? It would be entirely ravaging.
